Membership Policy

All colleagues with an interest in the sociology of science and technology are invited to become member of SSTNET. This interest includes teaching, research and other actvities related to the evolution, development, usage, and impact of science and technology including its evaluation and assessment. Membership is not restricted to Europeans. People from other parts of the world are also welcome.

SSTNET does not charge membership fees.

We recommend membership in the European Sociological Association (ESA), but ESA membership is not required for participation in SSTNET.

How to join SSTNET

If you want to join SSTNET just send an e-mail to luisa.oliveira@iscte.pt or to one of the members of the coordination committee. Within a few days your name, country and e-mail address will be included in the list of members on the SSTNET website.

All relevant news are distributed via e-mail to SSTNET members. You also receive an e-mail note if the website has been updated.
