REGULATIONS OF DUAL USE TECHNOLOGY IN THE ERA OF GLOBALIZATION

Dual use technology development is accepted and utilized as an alternative to the traditional development process in the Military Departments. Official concerns about the development of DU technology, technology transfers and the export of sensitive electronic equipment have produced the enactment of laws and regulations. The aim of this article is to study the legal framework of the Dual Use technology in the Era of Globalization. Some of the DU technologies are referred to the use of cryptography in the international networks and its relevance to National Defense. We will focus the article around the questions stated by this kind of software.
